Our clients wanted a home that felt warm, welcoming and designed around family life, with a big nod to their love of Italy. Taking inspiration from the Amalfi Coast, we introduced subtle touches of terracotta, muted blues and citrus tones, layered with warm neutrals and natural materials to create a scheme that feels both timeless and relaxed. The focus of the project was creating a beautifully connected kitchen, dining and living space that feels both relaxed and elegant – perfect for everyday living and entertaining alike.
For Project Paddock, our aim was to create a home that felt warm, relaxed and full of personality, whilst remaining timeless enough for family life. Taking inspiration from the clients' love of Italy, we introduced subtle Mediterranean influences through earthy terracotta tones, soft blues and fresh citrus accents, all balanced with a calming backdrop of warm neutrals.
The heart of the design centred around the newly extended open-plan kitchen, dining and living space. Bespoke joinery, natural materials and layered textures were carefully considered to create a space that feels both elevated and inviting. From the soft green kitchen island to the rich terracotta utility room, each area was designed to have its own identity while sitting harmoniously within the wider home.
The result is a contemporary family home that feels light, welcoming and effortlessly lived in, capturing the relaxed spirit of Mediterranean living in the heart of the West Midlands.
